Behavioral Health

Nix Health offers a wide range of inpatient behavioral health services. Between our two locations, we take care of emotionally and behaviorally ill males and females ages 18 and older, as well as children and adolescents ages 5 to 17 (Nix Specialty Health Center, 4330 Vance Jackson) and Senior Adults 65 and over (Nix Medical Center Heritage Center, 414 Navarro, 21st Floor). Adult services include detoxification and crisis stabilization, while our child and adolescent treatment program includes individual, group and family sessions.

Robert Jimenez, M.D., F.A.P.A. is the Medical Director for Nix Behavioral Health.

Nix Behavioral Health Services has received 2 honors from a national mental health management organization for nursing quality and community education programs.
