Behavioral Health
Nix Health offers a wide range of inpatient behavioral health services. Between our two locations, we take care of emotionally and behaviorally ill children and adolescents ages 5 to 17, as well as adults 18 and older (Nix Specialty Health Center, 4330 Vance Jackson) and Senior Adults 65-years-old and over (Nix Medical Center Heritage Center, 414 Navarro, 21st Floor). Adult services include detoxification and crisis stabilization, while our child and adolescent treatment program includes individual, group and family sessions.
Nix Specialty Health Care Center offers comprehensive Inpatient Behavioral Health Services for Children and Adolescents ages 5 to 17 and Adults 18 and over to include:
Ø 24 hour Nursing Care
Ø Individualized Treatment Plans
Ø Medication management under the care of a Psychiatrist
Ø Rapid stabilization for those in Acute Psychiatric Crisis
Ø Detoxification from Alcohol and other substances
Ø Group Therapy and Family Sessions
Ø Bilingual Staff
Ø 24/7 Intake and Assessment Department
Ø Voluntary and Involuntary Patients
